a context engine for your AI, now in private beta

Your AI doesn't know how you actually work. Yet.

sidebrain captures how you work, turns it into a living model of your judgment, and feeds it back into the AI tools you already use. Then it lets your AI apprentice under your teammates.

draft a cold pitch to Sarah at TechCrunch about our Series A
Hi Sarah, I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to reach out about our exciting new funding round and see if you'd be interested in covering it. Let me know your availability for a call.

watching how you work…

synthesizing knowledge…

the same prompt, before and after sidebrain learns how you pitch. no one wrote a doc.

the loop

Capture. Synthesize. Federate.

The durable asset in AI isn't the model. It's the learning loop around it: how the work actually gets done. Most memory tools store the text you feed them. sidebrain captures the loop itself, then makes it transferable.

01

Capture

how you work, not what you type into a box

A Mac menu-bar app quietly captures your working context: the AI conversations you have, the apps and docs you move through, the files you touch. Opt-in per source, with a global pause and a visible indicator. Raw capture never leaves your device.

02

Synthesize

a living model of your judgment

The raw stream is distilled into knowledge: the decisions you make, the workflows you repeat, the edits and the approaches you reject (the corrections that reveal your standard), your preferences and the words you use. It becomes a personal knowledge graph and a “how I work” profile, and every item is classified private, shareable, or sensitive at synthesis time.

Federate

your AI apprentices under your teammates

Connect with a teammate and exchange synthesized knowledge (never raw capture) under granular, you-set permissions. Ask the team brain. When recall fires, your AI produces something it could only know because it learned from someone else’s work.

the trust spine

Built so that capturing everything is actually safe.

“Capture how you work and share it with someone” is a minefield if you get it wrong. So we designed the survival path in from the start: synthesize first, share knowledge (never raw capture) and encrypt every transfer.

Raw capture never leaves your device

Everything sidebrain observes (your screens, conversations, files) is stored and processed locally first. There is no cloud copy of your raw activity. Ever.

Only synthesized, you-approved knowledge travels

What can be shared is the distilled knowledge layer, not the source. Every item is classified at synthesis time, and nothing is shared until you scope and approve it.

Federation is end-to-end encrypted

Knowledge moves between teammates encrypted on your device and decrypted on theirs. The relay in the middle is zero-knowledge: it routes ciphertext it cannot read.

the transfer

The moment a teammate's judgment shows up in your work.

Expertise normally moves by watching someone do the job for months. A transfer is when your AI produces the right call in context, because it apprenticed under a teammate, not because anyone wrote it down.

Every recall is attributed and logged. You can see exactly whose knowledge fired, and where.

the bet

The model isn't the moat. The learning loop is.

The largest companies in software are now saying it out loud: the durable asset in AI isn't the model. It's the loop around it. The record of how work actually gets done. The calls that worked, and the ones that didn't. sidebrain has been building exactly that, and the question it answers is the one they're all now asking: who captures the learning?

the big-company brain

sidebrain, but better

where the learning lives

captured at the company level, locked inside one vendor's suite

where the learning lives

captured per person, then moved between people, across the tools you already use

what counts as knowledge

the accepted outputs: what shipped

what counts as knowledge

the corrections and the rejected approaches too: the part that becomes judgment

when you feel it

after the enterprise rollout, on the org's timeline

when you feel it

the day you install it, individual-first, no rollout required

Same idea the giants are circling. We just don't make you buy the whole suite, wait for IT, or hand your work to one vendor to get it.

Give your AI a memory of how you work.
